Join instructor Ryan Hoglund for a detailed class, where you'll learn to tie a specific fly each time! All supplies & equipment provided- come ready to learn, create fly fishing community together, and get hands-on! In August, we'll tie two seasonnaly-focused flies to set you up for success on local waterways.
Ryan Hoglund grew up on the front range of Colorado and learned to love fishing and fly fishing specifically. He started tying flies when he moved to Yellowstone after college, after which he moved to Big Sky, Montana & started running a fly shop. In the fly shop he learned more of the fine points of fly tying, and continued to tie flies after moving to Telluride and guiding fly fishing as well. Ryan enjoys passing on knowledge of fly tying and fly fishing in general along to anyone who wants to learn.
