Wednesday, March 6th, 6pm: “Telluride BC Ski History: The 1970’s”

  • The first in a series of BC Chats focused on Telluride’s backcountry history
  • Stories and pictures from the good ol’ days!
  • Featuring several “local legends” who pioneered backcountry skiing in the ‘70s
The Peter Inglis Avalanche Education Fund has long been the presenting partner for Telluride's Backcountry Chat educational series. These chats are a great space for education and thinking about snow science, decision making, and safety in backcountry snow travel. But most importantly, they are a space for community building. Come meet new friends, share the stoke, and be a part of our region's amazing backcountry community!

Many thanks to our sponsors the Telluride Mountain Club, Mountain Trip, Telluride Mountain Guides, Telluride Helitrax, San Juan Outdoor Adventures, and of course the Peter Inglis Avalanche Education Fund.
